About
Nicholas Zweifel is an independent animator and voice actor from Columbia, Missouri. A passionate creative, Nicholas explores both 2D and 3D animation, aiming to blend these techniques into comedic parodies that evoke the nostalgia of late 2000s and early 2010s pop culture. Inspired by artists like Masanori Sato, Butch Hartman, and especially Stephen Hillenburg, he crafts work that reflects a deep love for humor and a desire to make people laugh at the things they cherish.
Primarily self-driven, Nicholas has a simple, cartoony style that embraces imperfection and emphasizes storytelling, often drawing on influences such as SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly Odd Parents, and YouTube creators like TerminalMontage, SMG4, and Death Battle. One of Nicholas’s proudest creations is an animated tribute to Kirby 64, a fast-paced parody inspired by TerminalMontage’s "Something About" series.
Though motivated by assignments and bursts of creative energy, Nicholas acknowledges the challenges of maintaining consistent motivation. Despite this, he remains committed to personal growth, aiming to improve his craft over time while prioritizing enjoyment over chasing mainstream trends. This is because laughing is the best way he finds to entertain people and that is what he wants to do more than anything through his work, he hopes to bring smiles and inspire others to find joy in laughter.
